Stage Door welcomes Äneas Humm to its Roster
for Italian and French management

 

Winner of the “Opus Klassik” award, Swiss baritone Äneas Humm graduated from the Juilliard School in New York.

His operatic career has taken him to leading stages including Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar,

Theater St. Gallen, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Opera di Roma, and Teatro La Fenice.

His most notable roles include Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte,

or Agrippa in John Adams’ Antony and Cleopatra.

A sought-after concert singer, Humm has collaborated with ensembles like

the Musikkollegium Winterthur, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen

and the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, performing at venues such as

Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Enescu Festival, and Lucerne Festival.

His album Embrace (Rondeau) was named “CD of the Year 2021” by BR-Klassik.

His cd “Libertas” marks his third solo album, and was released in spring 2025.
